    Suitable Foods:

    Suggested Recipe: Japanese Daifuku
    Ingredients:

    Japanese glutinous rice flour: 100g
    Sugar: 50g
    Water: 150ml
Red bean paste (or other filling): 100g
    Cornstarch (for dusting): as needed

    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Filling:
Divide the red bean paste into 10g balls and set aside.
    2. Make the Mochi Dough:
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour and sugar.
Gradually add water, stirring until smooth and lump-free.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, leaving a small gap for ventilation.
Microwave on high for about 2 minutes, stir, then heat for another 1-2 minutes until the dough becomes translucent.
    3. Shape the Daifuku:
Dust your work surface with cornstarch and pour the hot mochi dough onto it.
Sprinkle more cornstarch to prevent sticking, then divide the dough into 10 portions.
Flatten each portion, wrap it around a red bean paste ball, and seal the edges.
    4. Place the finished Daifuku on a plate and let them cool before enjoying.
