Red Bean Pastry Recipe Suggestion:
Glutinous rice flour: 100g
Water: 90ml
Vegetable oil: 10ml
Sugar: 20g
Red bean paste: 100g
1. Add 90ml of water to a pot, pour in the sugar, stir and bring to a boil until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Pour the hot sugar water into the glutinous rice flour, quickly stir to form a dough.
3. Once the dough is warm, knead until smooth, add vegetable oil and continue kneading until the texture becomes smooth and non-sticky.
4. Take the prepared red bean paste, roll into 5 small balls; roll the glutinous rice dough into a long strip and divide into five portions.
5. Roll each portion of glutinous rice dough into a ball, flatten, wrap with red bean paste, and gently shape into a pastry.
6. Heat a pan over low heat, add oil, and cook each side of the pastry for 2 minutes. Flip and continue cooking until golden brown.
