    Traditional Korean sweet treat with chewy texture - easily prepare authentic Hotteok (Korean sweet pancakes) at home.

    Ingredients

    Wheat flour, hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate, glutinous rice flour, powdered sugar, shortening powder (shortening, maltodextrin, sodium starch octenylsuccinate, mono and diglycerides (vegetable), flavoring, silicon dioxide, beta-carotene, mixed tocopherols concentrate), defatted soy flour, salt powder, glucose, skim milk powder, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, glucono-delta-lactone, wheat starch, calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium dihydrogen phosphate(*Contains wheat/gluten, soy and milk allergens)

     Warm water (122g), Instant dry yeast (3g)
    1. Dissolve the instant dry yeast in warm water.
    2. Add premix powder and  yeast water into the mixing bowl, use a hook mixer and mix at low speed for 1 minute.
    3. Scrape the bowl, use a scraper to clean the unmixed flour from the bottom and sides of the bowl, then switch to high speed and mix for 2 minutes until a dough forms.
    4. Let rest for 5-10 minutes in summer; 15-20 minutes in winter.
    5. Oil your hands, divide the dough into 65g portions, fill with powdered sugar filling, and shape into balls.
    6. Preheat the griddle with oil to 150-160°C, place the dough seam side down and fry for 30 seconds, flatten into a round shape, then fry each side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
