Ingredient prep:
250g Pastry Cookie Flour, 90g unsalted butter (room temperature), 1 whole egg, 80g powdered sugar, 2g baking powder (can be omitted), appropriate amount of decorative ingredients (such as nuts, sesame seeds, oatmeal, etc.)
1. Mix the dough: add butter to powdered sugar and mix well, then add egg liquid and mix well. Pour in the biscuit premix and baking powder, and knead into dough with your hands.
2. Refrigerate and relax: bag the dough and refrigerate it for 20 minutes to make it crispier and easier to shape.
3. Shape and decorate: Take out the dough, cut it into balls (about 20g each), and emboss or sprinkle with nuts, sesame seeds, oatmeal and other decorative ingredients.
4. Bake and color: Place in the preheated oven and bake at 160°C for 25~30 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown.
TIPS:It is recommended that the butter be warmed and softened before handling, so that the taste will be more delicate.
If you like a crispier texture, you can whip the butter and sugar powder or bake for a longer time until the edges are slightly browned.
It can be combined with dried fruits and cocoa powder to create your child’s favorite snack shape.
